Well you can test it on a PC without having to watch or test everything and get it all 100% tested in under an hour and go off and do whatever you want in the meantime (I guess it could still pass but still have had to dip to a too low rate at times to read a sector properly for full speed playback direct from disc, wouldn't happen too often but could happen, you could then watch the whole scan and see if speed ever drops really low or just play back from HD for no worry about that).īut without that option I guess you'd have to watch the entire movie, all extras and any commentary or alternate audio tracks you wanted and see if the image ever glitches or breaks apart a bit or if the discs freezes at all or there is a noticeable audio drop out if you really wanted to be complete, it would mostly just keep going but if there are tons of major sector errors in a row it might just freeze up the disc totally.
